Security & compliance

What we do, how you can check it yourself, and what we have not yet earned the right to claim, marked clearly.

icon
You hold a key

Escrow funds sit in a 2-of-3 multi-signature address. You hold one key, your counterparty holds one, we hold one. No single party can move the funds, and we cannot direct them to ourselves under any combination.

icon
Verifiable on-chain

The escrow address and its balance are public. You do not have to take our word for where your funds are. You can check the ledger yourself, before and during the deal.

icon
Screened before funding

Every wallet in a deal is screened against sanctions and illicit-finance databases before anything is funded. Deals that fail screening do not proceed.

icon
Our key never touches a network

Our share of the signing power sits on a dedicated hardware signer that has never been connected to the internet. Transactions are prepared online, carried to the signer, signed offline, and carried back. Key generation is done as a documented, witnessed ceremony and we publish the checklist we follow.

icon
Independently audited

Our controls were reviewed by Praetorian Security to the SOC 2 Type II standard in March 2026, covering key management, access control and the escrow release process. We name the firm and the date because an unnamed audit is not a trust signal.

icon
One address per deal

Your funds are not pooled. Every deal gets its own escrow address, and you are told what it is. They are never lent, never staked, and never used as working capital. You are not relying on a quarterly attestation of a shared balance. You can watch your own.

Do not take our word for it

The strongest security claim is one you can check without asking us. Here is what you can confirm independently.

  • The escrow address

Issued and shown to both parties before you send anything to it.

  • Its signing policy

How many signatures are required to move funds, and whose.

  • The balance held

At any point during the deal, without asking us.

  • Every movement

In and out, permanently, on the public ledger.

On every deal, without exception

  • Identity verification (KYC) on every party to every deal
  • Source-of-funds checks proportionate to deal size
  • Sanctions and illicit-finance screening on all wallets
  • Transaction monitoring for the life of the escrow
  • Record retention and reporting as required by the applicable AML regime
  • Refusal of any deal that fails screening, regardless of value

The limits, stated plainly

Honesty about what this arrangement cannot do is what makes the rest of the page worth believing.

If two of the three keys are lost, the funds are gone

Permanently, by anyone, including us. That is the cost of an arrangement where no single party can move your money. A provider who can recover from two lost keys was never actually constrained by the third.

We are not a bank and there is no deposit guarantee

Funds in escrow are not protected by any deposit insurance scheme, anywhere.

Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed

If you send to the wrong address, including one given to you by someone impersonating us, neither we nor anyone else can recover it. Always confirm the address through a channel you started.

We do not claim to be insured. If we obtain cover we will name the underwriter and the amount. An insurance claim without a named underwriter is marketing, not protection.

We do not claim an audit we have not had. When an independent firm reviews our controls we will name them and publish the date of the report.

We do not publish proof of reserves, deliberately. It is a quarterly snapshot of a pooled balance. Every deal here gets its own address, disclosed to both parties. That is continuous verification of the only balance that matters to you, which is strictly stronger than an attestation you have to wait for.

Tell us about the deal

Asset, amount, both parties, delivery terms. We will confirm whether we can act and exactly what it costs before you commit to anything.
